Cornish Highlights
Cornwall offers a huge variety of landscapes and places to enjoy and explore beyond beaches. Dramatic Landscapes. Beautiful Walks. Stunning Coastlines and places to visit.
Eden Project, Lanhydrock House & Gardens and Tintagel Castle are all nearby and in the top 10 visitor attractions for Cornwall.
The Camel Trail is only 2 miles from the farmhouse, an 18 mile virtually level multi use trail for walking or cycling to Bodmin, Wadebridge or Padstow.
Bodmin Moor is only a few minutes from the house, with stunning scenery, walks and views. Perhaps climb Rough Tor, enjoy a horse trek, cycle or simply spot the Highland Cattle or paddle at Delphi Bridge.

Nathan Outlaw's Fish Kitchen

Food & Drink
Cornwall has 3 Michelin star restaurants, all nearby - Paul Ainsworth's No.6 in Padstow and Nathan Outlaw's two restaurants in Port Isaac. Padstow is home to multiple Rick Stein eateries but you'll find many other great restaurant and pubs in the vicinity, many which are child and dog friendly. The Old Inn is the closest pub to the farmhouse - Cornwall's highest and oldest pub, Port William has terrific views over Trebarwith Strand Beach and St Tudy Inn is newly re-opened. Peckish Fish and Chips is renowned and of course there are cornish pasties and cream teas galore.
The award-winning Camel Valley Vineyard is close by, perhaps enjoy both the wine and the views from their terrace, or perhaps Tintagel Brewery or Rock Gin distillery is more your tipple.
Historic Locations
Cornwall is steeped in history and there is plenty nearby. Perhaps the legend of King Arthur and Tintagel Castle is of interest, or the history of the cornish tin mining trade - maybe Poldark locations. Enjoy visiting nearby quaint fishing villages such as Port Isaac if you are a Doc Martin fan or Padstow. National Trust locations are aplenty including nearby Lanhydrock House and Bodmin Moor is stunning, perhaps a visit to Jamaica Inn or nearby Bodmin Jail. There is so much to see and do for all members of the family no matter the weather.
